Alfie You raise up from Undermountain and into the familiar sighted Yawning portal. Not many people are in the taproom where the well is located, but you do notice the female who approached you, Obaya Uday. She nods in your direction from the table she is sat at, but does not approach.

Alfie would first talk to Durnan in regards to selling statues. If either he was interested in doing it with a 10% commission or if not, if he knew any art dealers that would be interested in buying/selling those sorts of things.
He then would talk with Obaya about the crown and the statues (if Durnan says no and doesn't know of any art dealers).
Alfie would have the crown and disguise kit apprised and possibly sold (if not sold to Obaya).
He would then search for/talk to an art dealer about statues (assuming both Durnan and Obaya passed)
Alfie would then make a quick trip to the various shops needed in order to get pricing and possibly purchase the following: 1) Three Notebooks 2) A cask of water 3) A cask of decent ale 4) Four waterskin refills 5) Seven days of good quality preserved meats for four people 6) Three mess kits 7) A full inkwell and quill OR a few charcoal pencils 8) Ask literally one female if they'd be interested in certain death by means of dungeon diving with zero guarantee of compensation and the sole purpose of gratifying a "gladiator". When she inevitably says no, just shrug and move on.

Alfie You look around for Durnan but do not see him here, so you head over to Obaya Uday who greets you warmly and talks business. "Well, if you know the crown is magical, I would happily identify and take it off your hands if you wish? I have no interest in statues unless they're magical by chance?" She smiles curiously. You tell her the crown is not magical and you have come across no magical statues yet and she asks you to return should you find any magical items, spellbooks, or statues.
You then head out into the streets of Waterdeep and look to get the crown and disguise kit appraised. After half an hour you find a pawn shop where you get the crown looked at and he offers to buy it for seventy-five gold pieces. He offers twelve gold pieces for the disguise kit. After making decisions you ask him about an art dealer who would be interested in stone but he has no clue if anyone in Waterdeep would run in the business. Quite possibly though.
You make your way towards a general goods store and are able to find three leatherbound notebooks, with 100 blank pages, each costing twenty gold pieces. Enough quality meat rations to feed the party members for seven days, all for fourteen gold pieces. Three mess kits are also available for six silver pieces, and an ink well and quill are priced at ten gold and two copper pieces.
You walk around Waterdeep with your new goods, looking for a place where an artist dealer may be, but have no luck finding one as the sun rises into the day sky, darkened every now and then by the occasional cloud. You make your way back to the Yawning portal and find it is a little more busier than it was the hour and a half ago. You walk past one of the tables and notice an aristocratic human female sat alone staring at the well in the centre of the taproom. You get her attention and she stares coldly at you as you ask her if she would like to spend time dungeon crawling with a real-life gladiator. She silently glares at you with a sneer and you shrug before moving along.
You see Durnan who greets you before asking when you came up and when you intend on heading down again. You ask him about statues and if he would be interested in running a business out of Undermountain statues and he laughs before asking if you're serious. You tell him you are and he gives you an odd look. "Treasure is treasure, but stealing furniture out of Halaster's dungeon is a different story. If you're gonna make business, then I want no part in it. And not in my tavern." He gives you a very stern look, before recovering himself and asking if you have anymore business.
Durnan gladly sells you two casks that fit two gallons in each. He sells the casks for five silver each. The water costs five copper for a fill and he also let's you re-fill your water skins in that. He fills the other barrel with a nice ale that costs two gold and says he'll happily do refills.

After a quick reprieve from the dungeon, Alfie sells the group's 'loot', collects his goods in preparation for a long stretch without the comfort of home, Alfie flips Durnan a gold to go back down. Before he does he has a quick idea. "Hey Durnan, real quick, do you have any cookies or pastries that will hold up well down there?" If he does, Alfie will by those too before returning to the group.

Alfie Durnan stares at you with a blank expression. "Do I look like a fucking bakery? There's some down the road if you really want a baked treat." He catches the gold coin. "So, you going down now?" He asks looking to move himself from behind the bar.

Alife Durnan gives you a colder stare before swilling his tongue through his mouth for a second. "You know, I was thinking about increasing the toll for adventurers like yourself in and out of that mountain." He let's the sentence hang in the air and gauges your reaction.

Alfie You walk away from the bar and Durnan grumbles something under his breath, too quiet for you to hear. You hop onto the foot noose and Durnan walks to the crank before lowering you down.
Alfie, move to Level 1: Dungeon level, to continue your posting.

Alfie,Aunna,Behemoth,Mikey You are all hoisted up into the taproom of the Yaening Portal, out of the gaping well mouth that sits in the center of the busy room. You find most eyes currently gazing upon your arrival and the stares only get more intense as Glom the goblin is pulled out of the well. She remains quiet as instructed by Alfie, and tries to sidle out of view between Alfie's cloak and the well.

Finally back above ground and in a favourite place of Behemoth's, a pub, he finds a table for the group and call over a waitress and begins ordering an obscene quantity of food, drinking heavily from the opened barrel of ale in the portable hole.
Over the next day he intends to eat, drink, sleep and 'get lucky' He also intends to make a trip to his old masters arena in the hopes of finding a safe place of work for Glom, and to secure her a food and board. He would also visit his fellow Gladiators and leave them a full barrel of the dwarven ale (from his share) Should Aunna decide she wants a guide for any exploration in Waterdeep Behemoth offers his services.

Alfie would first talk to Durnan about buying everyone a meal (3 meals for Glom). During their meal, Alfie would discuss his requests and needs. Once the party reaches a compromise and a meet up time is set, he would venture off and to begin his quick shopping trip followed by literally nothing but studying.
In his travels, Alfie would complete the following: -Offer Durnan some Dwarven ale. Then offer to sell more barrels to him if he likes. Possibly negotiate exclusive rights for a higher price per barrel. -Stay with the others until we sold all of our unwanted loot. -Reluctantly tear off a patch of a cartoon style chest and sell it. (+500gp) -Purchase enough paper and ink to transcribe the spells in the recently found spell-book. (-650gp) -Purchase enough incense and herbs to summon Reggie an additional 3 times (-30gp) -Secure lodging and begin to study and transcribe spells into his own spell book.
If Alfie has the money, and time, he would also -Wonder though different shops and Blackstaff Tower in search for anything that might peak his interest (Tasha's Mind Whip specifically) -Purchase additional paper and inks for future spells.

Aunna was used to large cities, but Waterdeep was still quite impressive. She followed along with the others, since she didn’t know where she was going. It asked what she was going to do, she voice the following things she’d want completed:
To the group, she’d explain she would like to sell the items they came upon together, noting that she needed money. “I was transported here and I’m pretty sure my camp was pretty far from Waterdeep.”
To Mikey, not hiding it, she asks, “If there’s space, can I place some items in the portal? I’d like to keep a healthy supply or arrows. Speaking of... How many silvered arrows do you think to can make?” Aunna’s intent was for Mikey to make as many arrows as he can and she would buy some regular ones with the monies she made.
When that was completed, Aunna would find a shop where she could buy necessary supplies for their next trip down in the dungeons.
Aunna would stay at an Inn or Tavern. She would prefer the Yawning Portal, if they have rooms, but it will be based on the cost. Aunna wanted to be well rested for whatever comes next. At the Yawning Portal, she would ask patrons and workers what they knew of the dungeons so she could learn more about the area she would be in.
Lastly, she would try and reach out to the others so they could all share a meal together, maybe once a day, but at least the last night before heading back down. Again... depending on her funds.

Everyone A table is found and you all sit down, finally allowing the aches and pains suffered in Undermountain to catch up as you are finally able to release the constant guard you all put up. With meals being ordered by Alfie for you all, tankards are also placed onto the table and filled from the dwarven ale in Behemoth's portable hole without any patrons really paying too much attention. Glom feasts on the three bowls of stewed meats randomly, creating a rather large mess of gravy across the wooden table while Mikey helms a discussion on what items are being sold from the portable hole.
After a half hour of eating and discussion, Alfie reaches Alfie tankard into the portable hole and cracks open a fresh barrel of ale and fills a new tankard before walking over to the bar to find Durnan while Mikey starts pulling items out from the hole and laying them on the table for inspection.
Mikey With the items you want to inspect played out on the table, you take a little time using standard ritual proceedings. After ten minutes, you find that the only things that give off any magical essence are the longsword that you know is cursed, giving off a faint aura of Evocation, and the withered heart, which gives off a strong aura of necromancy.
Alfie With meals for your group, and three for Glom, ordered and eaten and taking you back 21 silver pieces, you waste no time and start getting your businessman head on and grab a tankard of ale and take it over to Durnan behind the bar of the taproom. Offering him the tankard, he gives you a curious glance and a sniff of the ale. Delight cross his face and is only amplified when he takes a swig of the drink, eventually choosing to finish the whole tankard while you explain a proposition. "Not gonna lie lad, but that's some fucking good ale you got there. If you can give me a full barrel, I'd take it off your hands for 40 gold pieces?" He gives a wink as he finishes the tankard.

Enjoying the meal and feeling the stiffness in his muscles set in, Alfie attempts to fill a tankard with ale. Empty, he opens a new one and fills it for Durnan. "Dont drink from this one." he says to the group, "This will be the one we use to give samples out if Durnan doesn't bite." He turns and leaves the table for the bar to find the legend himself.
"Right! The best any of my group has tasted and some of us have tasted a lot!" he chuckles. "Now, we have come into a generous supply of this. All magically sealed so it will stay as fresh as the day is was brewed. We plan on hitting up several of the largest taverns in the city." Alfie pauses for a moment to let the idea move around Durnan's head. "That is, unless you are open to an exclusive deal?"

Mikey Once your ritual finishes, your head is filled with your ownxvoice reading off the details of the magical aura that surrounds the dry, withered heart.
A creature that has a heart in it's own body can attune to the withered heart as though it were a magic item. When it does so, the withered heart switches places with the attuned creatures living heart, which has the effect of killing the creature instantly. The creatures living heart then withers and dies, and it gains the same properties as the withered heart, allowing it to be passed on in the same way.
Alfie "Healthy supply eh?" Durnan gives you another curious glance before chuckling at your attempt of selling. "Look, lad, you can go to all of the taverns in this city for all I care. You're not gonna get a better deal than that." He strokes his chin and thinks for a moment. "Tell ya what. You get me 10 barrels, I'll pay 450 in gold for a bulk deal. Otherwise it'd be 40 gold a barrel from me. So, what you think?" He raises an eyebrow and puts out his hand for a handshake.

Alfie looks Durnan over with what he thinks is the keenest business eye he can muster. “Deal!” He says breaking a smile and shaking hands. “Ten barrels now and more to be delivered at a future date at 44 gold per barrel. You drive a hard bargain, but I guess that’s why the Yawning Portal is the best place in the city!”
