Randall,Xander Mangobarl strikes his chin as he thinks momentarily before speaking again. "I can't say I know anything personally about it. And no, I don't think it is a ghost. We would have heard about that long before now. My belief is that someone is trying to hide something there." He stops and listens to Randall.
"Well, friends, if someone is actually hiding something, it must be worthwhile. I see it in the Zhentarim's best interest to look into it, and like I said, I'm busy with other things and now I'll be even busier with both of your requests. So maybe you can lend a baker a hand in this?" "You'll find Pell at Mhandyver's poultry, just south of here, past the crossroads. And just in case it is a ghost, you might wanna hire some other hands for the task? Unless you both feel you could sort this out yourself." He winks towards you both and sits back again, folding his hands.

“Okay, I think we can handle it.”
Xander turns to Randall
“Do you think those people we travelled with may want in on this? They seemed capable of themselves, and we could use some more hands. But either way, in the meantime we should visit the girl who saw this ‘ghost’” “Thank you for the help, Mangobarl, and I think we’ll be staying at the inn in town, or at least I will, if you get any news about what we’re here for.”
Xander gets up, and waits for Randall to join him before leaving.

Randall nods to Mangobarl and says:
“It seem that ghost hunting it is then. Lets see what this girls has to say.”
He then looks to Xander
“Well im usually work alone, but I guess we may find use for some muscles in this job.. anyway we should know better what we are dealing with and speak with the girl in the poultry first... and try not to be so sincere this time.”
He proceeds to the door following Xander putting back his hood and walking curved as a old man again, while saying a kind of goodbye to Mangobarl in his own rasp way:
“We see you again soon master baker .. providing your last tip does not get us killed... save some bread for later ... we might come back hungry”

William Finishing your prayer to Tempus, you take your leave of the Allfaiths shrine. Exiting back into the bustling street, you stop someone on foot who seems to be meandering through the streets. She points to the north road of the crossroads. "Up on the left, dearie." She smiles and continues on with her day.
You move through the streets, the hustle of Red Larch continuing around you, and eventually find your self stood in front of a small house. A sign set on two posts set in a scrap of weedy lawn roads 'Mellikho Stoneworks'. You can also see, to the right of the house, the road splits off onto a thin path that you can see leads to a large stone pit.
You walk towards the door and can see a sign that reads 'open', and you open the door and head inside. Inside you can see a small room, that has not much furniture except for a desk and a small chair sat behind it. There is a door on the other side of the room, but is currently closed.
Sat in the chair is a female human with disheveled hair and brown clothes that are pretty plain. She is in the process of looking over papers as you walk in and puts them down as you enter. "Hello, do you have orders for stone today?" She asks in a slightly gruff voice.
Baeshra "I'm sure you will do well to help. Good day Baeshra." Haeleeya smiles and watches you exit the bathhouse. You head back into the street of Red Larch to see the streets are still bustling with people busy with trade or delivery.
You walk southward through the town, eyes glancing in your direction, which you are semi-used to being in civilised places. You pass through the main crossroad and take a right into a small side street that is filled with single-story, stony buildings on one side, all in a line. The first building has a painted sign of a large ham being carved by a cleaver, accompanied by no writing. The second building has no entrance that you can see and no windows of any sort. The third building has an entrance but no signs, and you can see clothes currently hanging out to dry on clotheslines.
You enter into the first building, assuming it to be the butchers. As you open the door, the smell of fresh meat fills your lizard nostrils and your mouth starts to salivate. Inside, you can see a table where a female human currently is chopping up a leg lamb and is accompanied by a male human who looks younger than she is. You also notice a cellar opening with stairs leading down. Next to the cellar is a wooden chair where an oldish man with a twirled moustache, arms folded, is currently sleeping.
"Oh, hello. Are you here for some meat? We have plenty to offer." She smiles kindly while the young man with her eyes you suspiciously. You ask for Constable Harburk and she nods. "Yes, just let me get him for you." She wipes her hands on the blood stained apron and walks over to the man sleeping in the chair. She grasps his shoulder and shakes it gently. "Harburk, Harburk. You have a visitor of the reptilian kind." She turns to you and winks with a smile.
Constable Harburk opens his eyes and quickly looks around before his eyes fall on you. "Huh?! What?! Oh. Well hello there." He stands and rubs the sleep out of his eyes before stretching and letting out a large yawn. The female walks back to the table and continues to cut the lamb leg. The young man watches the conversation between you and Harburk.
"Welcome to Red Larch. I am Constable Harburk. Pleased to meet you." He says with a tired smile. "What brings myself to your attention today?"
Randall,Xander You both get up and say goodbye to Mangobarl. He accompanies you back into the main part of the bakery and opens the door for you both, flipping the sign back to 'open' as he does. "See you both again." He says as he follows you a few steps outside and cupping his hands around his mouth. "FRESH LOAVES FOR SALE! MUSHROOM CHEESE TOPPED BUNS READY TO GO!" He calls out into the street. A few people turn their heads and seem to head into the bakery.
You both start to walk through the streets of Red Larch, which is currently busy with people going about their business throughout the day. One of you stop a passer-by and ask about directions to Mhandyver's poultry. You both follow the directions through Red Larch's crossroad and into the southern road. You walk past a few building before finding yourselves outside a wooden building that has single-story wings and annexes that shoot out in different directions in an untidy manner.
Walking inside, you are met with the sight of a hall that looks like an attic or barn, with exposed beams and posts all around. The sound of clucking fills the hall and you can see in each corner is a pen where the sounds are coming from. Inside the hall, at one of the pens, you can see an old female human who is currently scattering feed into the pen. She is accompanied by a female human child who curiously looks at both of your arrivals. "Ohh, just a moment my dears." The older lady says as she continues to scatter the feed. The young child hides behind a post but continues to eye you both up, hiding again whenever you glance at her, before she slowly peers around the corner again.
After a few minutes, the lady comes out of the pen, doing her best to keep the chickens inside the pen. She then places the bucket on a hook on the side of the pen and walks over to you both, the child following behind her.
"Welcome to Mhandyver's poultry. How may we help you today? Are you looking for chicken meat, eggs, or chickens?" She smiles warmly as she squints slightly at you both.

"Greertings, Harbuk man. I am Baeshra. I hear you know of bandit group who humiliate bear by forcing him to be their pet." She says the last part in a spiteful tone. "I must free bear.. and teach some lessons. You know where bandits are? Haeleeya says you know."

Um... Hello, yes... Unfortunately we aren’t here to buy, but if we may, we would like to speak with your daughter”
Xander steps forwards nervously and shifts in his feet as he says this
“We got tipped off that she saw something at the old tomb, and we wanted to possibly help. But we need as much information as we can get before checking it out.”

As Xander talks Randall remains quiet only nodding discretely.
He takes this opportunity to pay attention to the surroundings and to the little girl in hiding. If she notices he is looking to her he will then greet Her friendly with a discrete hand motion.

William The woman gives you a look, judging your clothes and armour. "Well, it seems you have found her. I assume by your attire, you aren't here for any stone?" She rolls her eyes briefly.
"Let me guess, you wanna poke your nose into the overblown rumours of masked men in my quarry?!" She leans back in her chair and clasps her hands together. "Ever since my workers have started those rumours, barely anyone comes to make stone orders anymore." She scoffs before turning her head to look out of the window.
Baeshra Harburk looks at you with tired eyes and listens to you talk about the bandits. He nods his head slowly as you speak. "I am aware of banditry that is going on South of here, along the Cairn road. But I barely have time to be going on a wild goose chase along the country side." His eyes roll as he says about finding bandits. He then looks at you with a new light.
"However, if you really think you can look into it for me, I'd be happy to provide you with one or two spots I am aware of are popular for bandits to populate.
There is a small lake about a mile along the Cairn road. And then just after that, a short distance from the lake, there is a small cave. Could potentially be one of those locations. And if you cannot find them there, then I am out of ideas. I do hope you don't intend on travelling alone to confront bandits? I am unaware of their numbers, but would not suggest you attempting this alone." He looks at you with a curious eyebrow raised.
Randall,Xander "My daughter? I think you may mean my grand-daughter, Pell." She smiles and turns towards the young girl hiding behind one of the pens, coaxing the young girl to talk to you both. The young girl slowly moves out of her hiding space and comes and shyly stands next to her grandmother.
"Tell the nice men what you saw, sweetie."
"Umm. Well." She stammered for a moment, as if to find her words. "I was just messing around, playing knights and princesses, and there was a small, old building. It had vines and shrubs all over it, like it was hidden away by nature. It was really cool to see, and I thought it might have been a cool place to be a princess." She blurs out her words fast.
"But then, when I got closer, I heard a noise from inside. It sounded like a 'whoooooOOOOOooooo' " she raises her arms in the air as she does the wail. "I thought it may have just been the Tarnlar kids, so got closer, and as I did, I saw a ghost! It looked really scary and I ran away before it could get me." She looks down at the ground, a small frown on her face now.
"And that is why you should never be playing in the wild on your own." Pell's grand-mother says to her in a condescending tone. "I have told her to stay away from there, but I am also curious as to what she really saw. I think someone ought to make sure it is safe, but Harburk is always busy with Red Larch's problems. Do you think you two could make sure it is safe?" She squirts at you both, waiting for an answer.

“Sure, I think we should be able to try to do something about that...”
Xander says, nervously glancing to Randall, before crouching down to talk to the child
“Do you think you could show us the way to where the bad ghost was? We’re new around here”
Xander says, trying to be as nice sounding as possible, although it comes off less so.

Randall scoffs and addresses the lady trying and failing to hide his lack of interest in the matter..
“Yeah, sure, sure.. we will take care of this... threat... peril.. ahnn thing for you“
And them to the girl in a lazy attempt to show empathy:
“Show us where did you find this terrible ghost!! But lets make sure no to get too close of the specter”
He will them prepare to follow Xander and the child to the indicated place.
While they move he will whisper inside Xander ears while calmly walking to make sure the girl is not able to listen (Cantrip: minor illusion: deliver a message in his own voice, at a very low volume with point of origin inside the right ear of Xander).
“Either this little snot sac is lying and plainly inventing this nonsense or she was tricked by somebody trying to hide something worth of hiding. Lets make sure to stop at a safe distance of the place, I want to scout it properly before anything”.

Baeshra takes note of the locations mentioned. She puts a hand up to her chin and thinks for a second.
"No.. cannot go alone. Too dangerous. I must find safety in numbers... Ah, Baeshra traveled with some men before. Perhaps they help. Yes.. Thank you for information Harburk man. I return with good news soon."
Baeshra takes her leave and heads for The Swinging Sword tavern she saw earlier, hoping to find her travel buddies there.

Randall,Xander The young girl gives you both a very uneasy look before looking at her grandmother and then slowly moving back behind her. The grandmother caresses the young girls cheek. "It's OK Pell. You don't have to." She then looks at both of you. "I'm sorry, but I have told Pell to stay away from that area now. She will not be guiding you to the area but it was along the Larch path." She says with a look that reads 'shame on you'.
"I believe my granddaughter wholeheartedly when she says what she saw. If you both think you can take on a spectre, or ghost, or whatever phantasmal force it is, then you are crazy and are running towards your own deaths. I would suggest finding some more help with this if you can. The swinging sword is an attractive spot for local and far adventurers if need be." She smiles now to you both.
'Now, is there anything else we can help you with, sirs?" She asks politely, still caressing Pells cheek.
William She scoffs at the word 'concerns'. "Concerns?! Why do other people have concerns about my business?!" She folds her arms and raises an eyebrow, as if expecting you to give an answer. "The people of this town will jump on anything that is rumoured as frightening and claim it is another thing for this town to worry about. If I am not worried, then why should they be?
If you really want something to be interested in, instead of this masked men nonsense, then there is supposedly a legendary treasure hidden down in Tricklerock cave. You seem like a man who would be able to unearth it. Any friends you have too could help you with it. If the rumors are to be true, there would be enough to go between you all." She now smirks and adds a wink your way at the end.

“I don’t think so, and sorry for any trouble. I believe we'll be heading out now.”
Xander says, before leaving the area and waiting for Randall
When Randall comes Xander says
“Should we head back to the tavern and maybe enlist the help of those guys that traveled with us? Or do you think we can take it just the two of us? I’ll follow your lead.”
Xander says, nervously, to Randall

Randall sighs and waves an economic goodbye right after Xander voices his, failing miserably in hiding his impatience.
After leaving he answers Xander:
“I seriously doubt that little snot sac actually encountered a specter... she would not survive it... plus feeble minds are easy to trick and manipulate... its almost like somebody wanted this history to spread among locals”
He makes a brief pause trying to make sense of the situation:
“Meaning this is an incredible waste of my time or there is somebody with enough resources to make others believe there is a ghost.. to which I can only assume there is something worth of hiding”
after another small pause he proceeds with a slight more arrogant tone in an attempt to hide his worries about an eventual serious situation:
“If the latter is true we might be well prepared.. although I would normally avoid working with strangers... with anyone really... but since Im already here stuck with you..*sighs* how worst it can get??.. lets go back to that inn to try and find some others...”

Baeshra Harburk smiles and nods at your enthusiasm towards the task and you leave the smell of fine meats behind as you make your way towards the Swinging Sword Inn.
Making your way through the crowded streets does not take you long before you come across three-story stone building, crowned by a steep slate roof that bristles with many chimneys. A sign board just out over the door, hanging from chains, of a ten-foot-long carved wooden scimitar emblazoned with the inn's name in red paint on both sides.
You step inside and are met with the luxurious sight of a taproom, warmed by the hearth on the western side of the room. Draperies and tapestries line the walls of the room with many depictions of tales running among them. You can see a female in her fortys behind a small desk. She looks up at you as you enter and smiles pleasantly.
'Ooo hello, and welcome to the Swinging Sword. How can I help you today? Would you like a room?" She asks with a genuine interest in her voice.
Looking around this room, you cannot see any of the people you travelled to Red Larch with.
William She gives you an odd glance before answering. "No. Tricklerock cave is along the Larch path, about sixteen miles out of town, on the eastern side of the path. You should definitely look into it. Might be able to put the treasure to whichever god it is you represent." She says as she takes in your armour and attire.

"Baeshra does not know for sure yet. Hoping to find some travel friends here. Will wait for them."
Baeshra takes a seat at the bar, if there is one. She puts her stick and backpack down, and rests her hands on the table.
"You serve meat? Baeshra will pay for a meal and some water."
