Name: Kaida Mintree Class and level: Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer 3 Race: Half-Elf Background: Acolyte
Alignment: LG
Size: Medium
Experience: 900
Proficiency bonus: +2
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 140 lbs
Appearance:
Kaida has a darker complexion, with long blonde hair, with two equally long brown strands of hair surrounding her face. She tends to keep a smile on her face, and her bronzed eyes are intense, the only other notable aspect of her face being the scar on the bridge of her nose. She wears semi-traditional robes, with one sleeve going to her wrist, the other stopping just barely past the shoulder. Her fiery attitude and pride are barely contained within her short stature, though the presence she exudes makes her seem much taller. She likes to believe she has the ability to make a change in the world, one for good, and her mannerisms show off her gung-ho attitude.

Features and Traits:
Racial: -Darkvision: Thanks to your elven heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. -Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
Background: -Shelter of the Faithful: As an acolyte, you command the respect of those who share your faith, and you can perform the religious ceremonies of your deity. You and your adventuring companions can expect to receive free healing and care at a temple, shrine, or other established presence of your faith, though you must provide any material components needed for spells. Those who share your religion will support you (but only you) at a modest lifestyle.
You might also have ties to a specific temple dedicated to your chosen deity or pantheon, and you have a residence there. This could be the temple where you used to serve, if you remain on good terms with it, or a temple where you have found a new home. While near your temple, you can call upon the priests for assistance, provided the assistance you ask for is not hazardous and you remain in good standing with your temple.
Class: -Dragon Ancestor (Bronze- Lightning): You can speak, read, and write Draconic. Additionally, whenever you make a Charisma check when interacting with dragons, your proficiency bonus is doubled if it applies to the check. -Font of Magic: At 2nd level, you tap into a deep wellspring of magic within yourself. This wellspring is represented by sorcery points, which allow you to create a variety of magical effects. -Sorcery Points: You have 3 sorcery points, and you gain more as you reach higher levels, as shown in the Sorcery Points column of the Sorcerer table. You can never have more sorcery points than shown on the table for your level. You regain all spent sorcery points when you finish a long rest -Flexible Casting: You can use your sorcery points to gain additional spell slots, or sacrifice spell slots to gain additional sorcery points. You learn other ways to use your sorcery points as you reach higher levels.
Creating Spell Slots. You can transform unexpended sorcery points into one spell slot as a bonus action on your turn. The Creating Spell Slots table shows the cost of creating a spell slot of a given level. You can create spell slots no higher in level than 5th. The created spell slots vanish at the end of a long rest. -Metamagic -Heightened Spell: When you cast a spell that forces a creature to make a saving throw to resist its effects, you can spend 3 sorcery points to give one target of the spell disadvantage on its first saving throw made against the spell. -Twinned Spell: When you cast a spell that targets only one creature and doesn't have a range of self, you can spend a number of sorcery points equal to the spell's level to target a second creature in range with the same spell (1 sorcery point if the spell is a cantrip). To be eligible for Twinned Spell, a spell must be incapable of targeting more than one creature at the spell's current level.

Personality Trait: -Nothing can shake my optimistic attitude.
Ideal: I always try to help those in need, no matter what the personal cost.
Bond: I have a secret. I once was a bronze dragon who served Bahamut. I was too proud and vain, to the point that Bahamut decided to teach me a lesson. I have been trapped in a weak, humanoid body, with the memories of my former life but a dim shadow. I remember only one thing with perfect clarity: Bahamut's command to go into the world and prove my devotion to the cause of good. If I prove worthy, on my death, I will return to his side in my true form.
Flaws: I refuse to acknowledge my faults. My pride and lack of strategizing will more than likely be my downfall.
Assumptions: Can't stand still unless there's very good reason too, such as stealth or any time she's in combat Tends to zone out and fiddle with small items and trinkets Stays as close to Elise as possible

Kaidarossa? That’s a name I haven’t heard very often recently. No, just Kaida works fine. Kaida Mintree, that’s the name I’ve been given. I’ve lived in this form for 19 years, and yeah sure, I’m not at my previous life’s level, but I think I’m pretty content with where I am now. The Mintrees, they’re good folk, they raised me with more love and care than I expected from how humanoids usually turn out. Regardless, I just hope I can repay them before I return to my original form. They were there for me when Lord Bahamut decided to impart some of my old power back to me. When the scales began coming in as a child, I’d say about 7 years or so in, if I remember correctly, the other children began swarming to me, making fun of it. It’s strange to think the blood and scales that once caused my pride and vanity were that which caused me pain. The onslaught of mean words did not stop, nor did anyone seem to care to stop it, myself included. The Mintrees stopped it though, after they saw me return home with the large gash where my scar is now.
After that, the scales began growing more rapidly, before I reached 12 years in this form, they had grown to cover my entire arm. That’s around the time my magical talent began developing as well. Luckily there was someone there for me on that front too, Elise, an angel in a human’s form, to be quite frank. She helped me in my magic studies, and where I had natural prowess, she had skill, teaching me to channel it more effectively. I couldn’t stay at that school for very long though. There was no point in me studying, I had learned all I could, and while I wished to stay for her, I felt there was more to do elsewhere. I left a letter, not describing much, just a simple, “I’m sorry.”
There was not much else to my life in the years since, just going around, finding places to be helpful, spreading Bahamut’s influence, until he got into contact with me. What he said, well, it shook me to my core. Enough to try and contact the one person I knew would be strong enough to aid me. Elise. I had a contact of mine use sending to tell her to meet up back at the Gate, where we first met. From there, I explained what I saw, and we made way for Greenest.
