Coles smiles at his dice, them being a different assortment of numbers. Cole looks over to Eko and Away from Nahusca. "Sometimes it's not a matter of fooling your opponent, I much rather fool the audience?" Cole laughs a bit at his own statement before looking back to Nahusca waiting for his reply.

Cooling confused, Eko slowly squints his eyes at close before looking down and whispering under his breath "Does the audience play... but why... but then..." -Folkre- He will snap back too once Nahusca begins speaking again.

Everyone As Nahusca shakes the hands of Kaida and Elise, he grips their hands tightly. "No need to be scared, Elise. I'm not one of the bad Lizardfolk you can hear of." He drops a wink and a sly smile her direction before leaning back in his chair. "News? I bring no news for you softskins today. I am mainly here for the company and a catch up!" He laughs heartily. "So where be the big furred one? Wasn't he with you in the raid on the cult?" He asks as he looks around to all. "You mean Kavalan?" Wilhelm asks as he pulls out a piece of stamped parchment. "Hopefully this will explain." He says as he breaks the wax seal and starts to flick his eyes over the letter. After a minute, Wilhelm scoffs before dropping the letter onto the table. "Seems he up and ran to Waterdeep. Says he has business that needs tending up there. I say its untrue and that he has turned tail and fled. Given us this cover story to hide his real fear." Wilhelm laughs at nothing in particular before drinking down he rest of his tankard, just in time as more are brought to the table by the bar keeps.
"Here we are then. Freshly poured." The barkeep mentions before heading away from the table. Nahusca then leans back into the table and towards Kaida and Elise. "You mean you are unaware of the celebration?" He then looks to everyone else who also seems to be confused. "Wait, none of you know?! Well it's for all of you of course! You've saved this town and you've returned some of the softer ones back to their 'families'." He adds air quotations around the last word. "Last thing Greenest can do to repay you all is by having a little celebration in your honour." Nahusca smiles before looking back to Kaida and Elise. "Seeing as you have only just got here, let me tell you the tale of the heroes of Greenest!"
Over the next hour or so, Nahusca tells of the arrival of the heroes to Greenest and the harrowing battle that nearly cost the lives and livelihoods of many residents of Greenest. He tells of a large blue dragon that swooped over the head of the town and nearly destroyed the central keep until it was driven away by the group of heroes. He then tells of a hostage situation where Drake had bravely put his own life on the line for the villagers in a one-on-one combat with a fearsome looking half-dragon named Llangdedrosa Cyanwrath. The villagers were saved and Drake nearly lost his life in the process, but Greenest was thankful for the bravery committed by outsiders of the village. You can all tell that Nahusca is exaggerating the truth slightly, but the message of dire stakes holds true to the story.
Before Nahusca can finish the rest of what he knows on the camp assault, people from the village start pouring into the tavern, instantly showing gratitude to the group as they make their way to the bar to order drinks for themselves and for you all. Within a few minutes, the table has been piled with more drinks to the point of everyone having at least three tankards each. "Well, it seems that I ran over the time of my break, whatever that is." Nahisca chuckles before standing up from his chair. "Heroes, Kaida, Elise. I bid you all goodnight for now and hope you enjoy your celebration." Nahusca pats Drake on the shoulder before taking his leave as more people filter into the tavern. The noise inside becomes raucous as people tell their own feelings of sightings of the heroes on the night of Greenest's raid.
Silence is slowly brought to the tavern as a sole tankard is slammed onto the bar to gain attention. Looking over, you can all see Governor Nighthill and Escobart the Red stood at the bar. "Friends. Family. People of Greenest. We all stand in this tavern tonight because the deities have smiled upon us and saved our hides. The only way that we can thank them, is by thanking the heroes of Greenest." He gestures an open palm towards the table you all sit around. There is a sudden loud outburst of cheers and jeers from everyone within the tavern as they raise their tankards. "Heroes of Greenest, this village cannot thank you enough. Twice you have saved the lives of many people in here, and twice you have made an assault onto the Cult of the dragon!" There are a few boos at the mention of the cult and Nighthill calms them with his hand. Escobart then starts to bring a round of tankards of golden mead towards your table and makes sure everyone has one before others are handed out around the room. When it seems everyone is holding a tankard of mead, Nighthill raises his up. "To the heroes of Greenest. May their lives be long and their hearts hold true!" "The heroes of Greenest!" A chorus erupts in the taproom after Nighthill before the sound of cheers are replaced with the glugging sound as everyone drinks the mead.
The rest of the night is filled with a chorus of music that is eventually accompanied and fronted by Cole and his singing before a feast of meats and vegetables are brought inside the tavern by Nahusca, for all to share. The rest of the night is filled with merriment and laughter from everyone. A crowd gathers around a table with Drake helming some light and friendly games of liars dice, which spawns off another game of cards on the next table over. Spirits run high through the tavern in beat with the band playing. Towards the end of the night when most have retired either for an early start or involuntarily passing out on the tables or floorr, Governer Nighthill stumbles over and informs you all that rooms have been put back for your stay this evening, including Kaida and Elise, as another token of Greenest's gratitude. He then hiccups a goodbye before being escorted towards the keep by Escobart the Red. All having frolicked and enjoyed the night, you all bid each other a good night before slowly finding your way to your rooms for the night with Kaida and Elise choosing to bunk together. You all crash onto the beds and quickly fall asleep after the amount of food and alcohol consumed.
All finish a long rest.
After a heavy nights slumber, you all eventually wake to the soft pitter patter of rain against the glass panes that lead to the outside. The skies are dreary and overcast with dark clouds, but you can see people of Greenest still hard at work despite the weather. You al eventually meet downstairs in the taproom which is surprisingly clear from the evenings party. A young barmaid is the only person to populate the taproom and was sweeping upon all of you moving down the stairs. She places the broom against a table and moves behind the bar, looking at you all expectantly. "Good morning. Anything that I can get you all?" Her voice is sweet and kind as she waits for a response.

Having partied late and played long into the early hours Drake eventually rises from his slumber, with his head pounding he slowly stumbles downstairs, "Morning," he yawns to the barmaid, "A hearty breakfast would be nice, might help ease my head after last night," he laughs and quickly regrets it as his head pounds with each laugh so he finds himself a table and packs himself a morning pipe while waiting for breakfast.
After breakfast he braves the miserable weather to retrieve the gear he both left with, and commisioned from, the smithy. Once collected he staps the swords to his lower legs, hangs a quiver from his belt, ties the other two to his backpack, and slings his new bow over his shoulder, "Great work smithy, thanks," he then heads back to the tavern to wait for his other companions to ready themselves for the next leg of the adventure.

Cole saunters down the stairs bright as a daisy. He finds a seat next to Drake as he does. "Breakfast sounds great!" Cole's smile is big and appears to have no adverse affects from the previous nights festivities. He flexes his hands in his gloves before chowing down on the food that was brought. He leaves a two gold on the table before beginning to follow Drake out of the tavern, "see you all shortly."
Cole heads to the locations necessary to pick up his custom orders and will stop at a general store to pick up a water skin. He will then head back to the Tavern to meet up with the others. He double checks his gear and adjusts straps to make things feel more comfortable.

A few minutes after Cole and Drake come back to the tavern, Kaida comes back downstairs from the night, her hair a mess, although she was in the middle of tying it up. "Good morning!" She proclaims, to whoever can hear her. "Whatever meats you've got would be great to start the day, I think." She says, with a wide smile, before approaching the two. "So, early risers are we?"

"The day waits for no travelling entertainer." Cole says smiling. "As much as sleeping on the road is fine, getting to the tavern of your destination is always better, no?" Cole looks around the tavern for the other party members. "Seems we are still a few short," Cole says with a laugh.

Elise were heading downstairs, rubbing her eyes as she were stretching, "Mmh, that was a good sleep." She was half-awake though, looking at Kaida. "Morning!" She smiled, before thinking. "... Well, I'd like some meat too, and any salad you got." She looked over to Kaida before approaching her. "Hey Kaida, you look pretty energized even though you just woke up." Elise giggled. "O-of course not that I mind! It's nice to see spark of joy in you."

After emptying his first pipeful he refills and offers to his companions, "Morning Elise, you seem to have slept well," he takes a pull from his pipe when it gets returned, "Something I forgot to ask before but how do you two know each other?"

"We were friends as children, and were originally enrolled in the same Arcane College, figured to reach out to my old friend for aid." Kaida explains. "I've just about explained all I can about myself, though, I believe, is there anything in particular you wanted to know? Well, anything that's not indecent to ask about." She asks, giving a wink, followed by a loud laugh.

"You find me at a disadvantage, my studies into such things were limited." Cole says with half a chuckle. "Maybe, I would have heard a tale or two about Bahamut," Cole says leaning back in his chair "But I am more interested in the tales of people."

Finally having a chance to sleep in, Eko makes his way out of bed much later than the rest of his group. Once up he sets out to find some food before meeting up with his allies. Once he has some food and water, he makes his way over to the group and plops down while listening to the new voices.

Cole,Drake When you both leave to grab your commissioned pieces, you are equally satisfied with your purchases and pack them accordingly before heading back to the tavern for a hearty breakfast.
Everyone A spread of meat and eggs is placed on the table for all of you to indulge in while delighting in conversation with each other about Bahamut. "She's right. And I'm sure it's come up that Bahamut is the one who bestows me with my power?" Wilhelm pipes in between mouthfuls. He then waves a hand dismissively before continuing. "Bahamut is a force of good and has tasked me with tracking this cult. So I guess it is in his best interest that Tiamat is stopped." He chuckles deeply. "And what is your connection with Bahamut then, Kaida?" Wilhelm stares deeply at Kaida before placing more food into his mouth.

Kaida takes a bite as well, before answering, "Well, I think, everything I have now is due to him, in a way. Even down to my life." She explains. "I just hope he finds what I do satisfactory, by the end of my mortal existence."

"I'm sure if you help us put a stop to Tiamat and this cult Bahamut will reward you greatly," Drake says smiling between mouthfuls of food, "Probably you too Wilhelm," he adds.
After breakfast he asks the barmaid to fill his waterskin with water and assuming she fills it thanks her and pays her if necessary before returning to the table and packing his pipe once more, "So, are we ready to leave now? Takes about half a day to get there so we would still have some daylight, though it might make sense to leave in a couple hours so we arrive later and have the cover of darkness," he looks around the group, "That said its alot harder for us mere humans to see in the dark," he laughs and checks his backpack, "I knew I forgot something, light sources. Remind me before we leave," he begins merrily puffing away while his companions have their say.
