Drake shrugs at Wilhelms comment, "Let's just leave," he states simply, "We can bury Verus once we're out of here," he starts to walk towards the entrance, "Well," he turns to the others, "Are you coming," he says impatiently

Cole points to the ladder leading upward, "What say we take the ladder up and avoid the previously omitted giant bats, no?" Cole smiles mischievously, not letting on whether his statement was a lie or a truth. Cole heads towards and up the ladder recalling the layout of the cave to the best of his ability. He waits at the top allowing the more beefier members to handle Verus's body. Once done he weill begin the casual stroll of returning to Greenest.

"What about her?"
Elise points at Frulam's mess of an corpse, she partially looks at it but quickly turns to face the party
"She died because of my mistakes, even if she wasn't exactly the best person. I think an end like this, in a cave. By my own actions... Is it truly an end that a human being deserves?"
Of course Elise was not exactly a saint, she had her shortcomings, a lot more than the young arcanist let the group see.
And yet, the feeling of guilt from this tragedy of an event is something that won't leave her mind for a long time.
"She is a person like us, evil? Maybe, but nonetheless the one that deserves a proper burial like any other would do."
And perhaps in afterlife, Frulam would find atonement for their sins.

Everyone With a decision being made to get out of the cultists cave and not explore the underground area further, you all make your way towards the ladder that climbs up into what used to be Frulam's headquarters, Fadrelle mainly helping lift the corpses of Verus and Frulam up the ladder and back into the care of Drake and Elise and Kaida to be taken outside and be given a final burial.
Taking a careful approach around the corners of the cave and stepping over the bodies of the dead cultists, you find no resistance as you leave and finally feel the daylight of the afternoon sun caress your skins, the wind whipping fresh air into your nostrils for what seems to have felt like a long time since you felt the wind. Finding a spot near the small Grove of the trees that sit in the horseshoe camp, two holes are silently and efficiently dug for the burial of Verus and Frulam Mondath. After near an hour of digging and burying, a few silent words are held within everyone's own heads before you all finally decide to set off back towards Greenest, the future plans of the cult still fresh in your heads, ready to be given to Leosin Erlanthar.
The next half of the day drags on as the toll of the caverns continues to hang over the group and a lookout is kept for a trail form Eko Eco, but none is found on the path that the group have walked several times back and forth. With each footstep making the sun continue in its arcing sweep across the sky, it is not too far from the horizon before you finally spot Greenest, a feeling of mutual thankfulness washing over you all as you realise you will not have to walk much further. With the last stretch taken towards the small town where you pass the residents onlooking your tired walk back into the town, a few jeers and cheers thrown towards you at the success of your return, you make your way to the central keep where the central portcullis is raised high and allows free access into the keep. Standing in the courtyard dog the keep is he familiar faces of the dwarf Castellan Escobart the Red, and Governor Tarbaw Nighthill beside him, both locked in conversation. Escobert is the first to spot your group stumbling into the keep and a smile crosses his face as he gestures for Nighthill to look your way, who also smiles. You notice the bandages that were wrapped around his face from the first night raid on Greenest have been now reduced as his wounds begin the healing process.
Both of them begin to walk over to meet your walk across the courtyard, Governor Nighthill's Arms outstretched. "Heroes of Greenest! The faith we had in you seems to still be going strong! We knew you would return successful, but you have only recently missed Leosin and Eko depart, but a few hours ago. Fear not. We shall discuss it with you over some supper. Come, you must all be hungry, and Nahusca has prepared another hearty stew for us all!" Tarbaw guess in your return and guides you to a room within the keep where bowls of warm stew and loaves of bread are given to aid in absorbing the gravies in. While you sit and eat, Tarbaw details you on how Eko Eco had come back to Greenest this morning and had informed Leosin of the information about the cults plans on amassing a hoard somewhere in the north and all about the trails that were marked upon the map within Frulam's quarters. Upon hearing, Leosin gathered his own resources before heading straight to Elturel on horseback with Folkre and Eko Eco accompanying them. You are also informed that horses had been bought for you all to cover the distance to Elturel to meet him when you had come back to Greenest by Leosin and that he had urged you to all join him as soon as you could. Tarbaw then calms you all down. "Surely a nights rest for the heroes of Greenest will not bore the efforts of the mission too much! We insist!" The Governor of Greenest allows no refusal and with a warm belly of stew and breads, you are all guided towards rooms where you bed down for the night, sleep quickly taking ahold of you all.
