Cole sighs as Eko declares his intent before again addressing lord Nighthill. "I will be filling you in then, I will pay my respects to my fallen friend afterward." Cole glances towards wilhelm before returning his vision to Nighthill. "Please lead the way."

Cole,Drake,Eko Eco,Wilhelm Nighthill immediately places his hand over his mouth in shock at the news of Milo's death. "My goodness, I did not know. My condolences are with you all in this time of tragedy. I do not consider yhe burial of your friend rude in the slightest. Take the time you need and when you are ready you will find us in my study; Top of the stairs, door at the end of the corridor." He bows his head gently before turning and gesturing for you all to follow him up the stone stairs. "As for strain, we may be able to supply you with some common items, however weaponry and armour will have to be traded for coin. With the recent raid, we have decided to arm more of the town in the case of a second attack. We can discuss what you need further after the mission briefing." He continues as he leads you all up the stairs.
After one set of stairs, Nighthill opens the door that leads out to the courtyard. In the courtyard, you can all see large gatherings of lumber supplies and townsfolk either carting it out of the keep to be used in the repairing efforts of Greenest, or wheeling in tree logs to be turned into the supplies needed. Drake and Eko Eco exit into the courtyard to go bury Milo while Nighthill continues leading the rest of the group upstairs.
Cole,Wilhelm Once Drake and Eko Eco leave, Nighthill continues up the stairs with you both in tow up a final set of stairs that curves in on itself before coming to the upper corridor. At the end of the corridor, stood outside the closed door of Nighthill's study is Castellan Escobart the Red. He nods at your approach with a smile. Nighthill. Heroes. Or should I say two of 'em." He almost laughs before opening the door into Nighthill's study and you are lead inside by the Governor. The desk still sits near the opposite curved wall and the round table remains in the centre of the room. At the table are two female figures, one human and the other half-elf.
The human is light of skin and has light purple coloured hair that falls to shoulder length from under the wide-brimmed pointed hat on her head that has a dark red bow tied around the base. The hat is tilted slightly, hiding the top half of her face, but you can see the light red blush in her cheeks and a timid smile. She also wears a short dark grey robe that ends in a skirt that has gold outlines.
The half-elf has a darker skin complexion and long blonde hair. From underneath the blonde hair protrude two equally long, brown swathes of hair that fall from the back of her head. Her eyes are an intense bronze colour and a notable scar that runs horizontally across the bridge of her nose. She wears a set of semi-traditional robes of dark colours, with one sleeve going to her wrist, and the other stopping just barely past the shoulder. She seems to be tall in stature, but in reality she is holding her own stature quite highly which gives her a taller look.
Elise,Kaida After a few short minutes, he door of the study opens and Governer Nighthill enters with a curt smile and nod to you both and is followed by two figures, one human and the other half-orc.
The human is a fair skinned human with light brown hair that edges towards blonde. His eyes gleam a greenish brown colour but crows feet show at their edges, which give him the appearance of someone much older than than he seems to be. He is a slim individual while not physically imposing by any means. His body appears to be well taken care of and his clothes look to be rather neat and he holds himself straight with his chin held high.
The half-orc is a tall and quite burly in his form and has a greyish skin tone and a completely bald head. He holds himself with an air of confidence and his head held high, looking down upon you both due to his height.
Kaida You look at the two figures and your eyes are drawn to the half-orc immediately. There is a very slight glow from behind him that fades as you notice it, very similar to the glow behind one of the figures in your vision.
Cole,Elise,Kaida,Wilhelm "Ladies, this is Cole and Wilhelm." He gestures to the human and then the half-orc respectively. He then moves to the table to take a seat where he is facing the door. "Cole,Wilhelm, this is, oh. It seems I never actually asked for your names." He looks to the two females expectantly.

"Hello..." Elise said, looking at the two, slowly, with caution, though realizing- that they would've think of it as rude behaviour, she stopped, introducing herself. "I'm Elise Mellowmore... Arcanist and a frien-" She cut herself off for a moment, afer all the term "friend" wouldn't be too professional, as she thought. "Companion of Kaida."

Wilhelm looks at the two guesses of the Governor. “HE’s my admiral and I’m a simple deckhand, so it’s arrogant of me to say so but, Bahamut showed me a vision of allies coming to help.” While shifting his eyes more intently on Kaida and with a wink “Allies from the Bronze fleet.”
He’ll let that information sink in the half-elf and turn toward the human, “Hopefully the cart ride wasn’t too bumpy.” as he says that he’ll get around the table, closer to them and grab each one in an arm for a three person embrace. As Wilhelm gets closer, you can see unusual flecks of gold dancing in his eyes. "I’m sorry if this seems sudden and familiar of me. We’re all part of the same crew…” Wilhelm says with a laugh of relief, before continuing more solemnly “… under the threat of Tiamat’s return.”
As Wilhelm walks around the table to sit across the two newcomers “We had a rough day yesterday and we’re here report to Governor Nighthill. Listen carefully and your questions about this task Bahamut sent you on will be answered.” He’ll sit down beside Cole and face Nighthill. “Governor, you sent us on a mission to find out more about this cult that savagely raided Greenest two days past. We easily found out about the camp location, in their arrogance, the cult did nothing to hide their tracks. We discovered a horseshoe shaped valley near some caves a couple hours out of town, you might know the location? I have the power to show you what it looks like but they took my Arcane Focus, among other things, and I need it to conjure this kind of illusion.” Wilhelm will then describe the location of the camp and how to get there to Nighthill. While confirming his informations with Cole, he’ll tell him how many raiders he estimated there was in the camp, kobolds included. “They are led by a blue half-dragon and a woman, probably a human. They are named Landedrosa Cyanwrath and Frulam, I don’t have her last name unfortunately. Frulam seemed to be the one in charge of the operations and Cyanwrath of the muscle and it seems like they take their order from someone named Rezmir, which leads me to believe they are a much bigger organisation than what we saw at the camp. Maybe this was just a cell, part of a much bigger organisation that spans the whole Coast.”
“We managed to rescue some of your citizens and Leosin Erlanthar a skilled monk and one of our’s master. He might have more accurate information about the cultist since he was trying to infiltrate them. Didn’t he Cole?” Wilhelm will let Cole relate his information about Leosin and what he knows and pick back up after.
“I also learned from the cultist that they want to bring back Tiamat to this plane of existence. Dragon led by greed and this might be a way for them to provide their Queen with a hoard fit for the Queen of all Chromatics. Would you agree with this hypothesis Kaida?”
“Finally, I couldn’t find out where their next target, but we discovered something even more important. They have dragon hatchlings in those caves and they probably plan to breed even more if we let them.” Wilhelm will relax in his chair now that he’s done talking and look at everyone’s reaction to the news he brought.

Cole stops listening to Wilhelm as he pulls a blade from his sleeve and starts to twirl it through his gloved fingers. Cole almost loses the blade as wilhelm mentions him and knowing info about Leosin. He hesitates a moment looking at wilhelm blankly before a all too confident smile crosses his face. "Right, that grumpy old monk was in a bit of a spot and in rough shape. He mentioned a few interesting items. One was them having eggs within the caves and Frulam having mentioned feeding us to the young at the light of dawn would likely confirmed that they have hatchery." Cole thinks for a moment, "A well guarded one if Leosin is to be believed." Cole looks back to the door for a moment then back to Nighthill, "speaking of Leosin, he appeared to be under the weather, has a healer tended to him yet?"
While wilhelm begins to speak cole listens for a few moments before twirling a blade through his fingers once more.

Hearing what Wilhelm says, Kaida grips onto her sleeve again, she listens to the other man speak, before speaking up herself, "Yeah, that'd probably be why they're collecting such treasure, I'd say." Kaida says solemnly, "Of course he would send me for Tiamat, why wouldn't he?" She mutters, under her breath

Cole,Elise,Kaida,Wilhelm Once introductions are made and everyone takes their seat at the table, Nighthill turns to the two ladies in the room. "Well, Kaida, and Elise. It is good to meet you." He smiles and bows his head slightly towards them both before continuing to listen to Wilhelm brief everyone on the infiltration of the Cult of the Dragon.
"It could have either been arrogance, or maybe a show of power. Maybe they weren't bothered about covering their tracks. They did leave Greenest in a rough shape and probably didn't expect a retaliation so soon. As for the location, there are many valleys to the direction of the cult. They could have holed up in a number of them." Nighthill pipes in as a suggestion to Wilhelm before continuing to listen.
His brow furrows as Wilhelm mentions the names of the supposed leaders. "All of these names are new to me. I fear that you may be correct and there are more hands involved. Is this Rezmir figure the top of the chain, or just a link in the lower part of the chain?" He asks rhetorically before Wilhelm continues on about the rescues from the cult. He then turns his focus to Cole as he talks in more depth about what Leosin had revealed. "Eggs? Dragon eggs?!" Nighthill's expression changes to one of worry. "This certainly is not good. I am not familiar with the biology and growth of dragonkin, but I do not want to wait for young dragons to grow and aid the cult in their efforts." Nighthill sighs heavily at the thought. "This is all just too much." He says under his breath just loud enough for everyone to hear. Without skipping a beat, Wilhelm continues to tell of the cultist plan to bring back Tiamat and Nighthill continues to shake his head slowly at the information.
"I understand. From what you have relayed to me, it seems this cult have no intentions of moving anytime soon and may have set up a permanent foothold in the valleys." He stands up from the table and moves behind the writing desk and opens a drawer before reaching for something. "Well, I asked for the information, and you have delivered." He pulls a heavy looking pouch and a folded piece of parcment. He then places them both onto the circular table and slide them both towards Cole and Wilhelm. "There is one-hundred gold pieces in there for each of you, as promised. The note there is from Kavalan. He did ask me to pass it onto you all and said he was leaving for Waterdeep. He took half of his share and left the rest for you all. Bought a horse and rode off at the crack of dawn this morning."
The door to the study opens and four more figures enter the room. The first figure to burst through the door is a tanned half-elf with short black hair that almost falls into a fringe. He is dressed in a casual monk attire of pale beige robes that are accented with blue patterns and grass and dirt stains dotted all over his clothes. Around his waist is a dark brown, leather corset that is the same design as the leather bracers on his wrists. He is quickly followed by a full blooded elf who also has tanned skin and deep blue eyes. His attire resembles a different style of monk attire in a light green colour and a pelt of a medium sized animal thrown over his shoulders.
Followed into the room and familiar to some of you as Drake, a bald, stocky human bearing many varying scars in different places across his visible skin. His bright green eyes are accompanied by a hardened face and stoic expression. Over his shoulders is a green and brown hooded cloak that covers most of the leather armour he wears. You can see an insignia of a shield aflame with a pair of footprints underneath the shield and then two lines below them to indicate a ranking of some sort.
The second figure known to some as Eko Eco is an average heighted, male Kenku that is covered in black feathers that has a mottle of grey mixed in amongst. His eyes are a bright white while his beak is a dark black that matches his feathers and has some white lines along the edge of the beak. He wears simple clothes that have been fitted to his Kenku form and small patches of moss look to have either been attached or have grown on parts of the clothing.
Drake,Eko Eco Exiting the keep building and into the busy courtyard, you can see many townsfolk of Greenest helping in the efforts of transporting supplies of lumber that is being cut down in the courtyard and put onto wagons and out of the keep towards the damaged town. To the right of the courtyard keep, tables have been set up to make a cooking station and a few people helmed behind the table who are passing along bowls of food towards people waiting. At the end of the table, looking rather pleased with the cooking efforts is Nahusca the Lizardfolk. As you make your way through the courtyard, he notices the two of you and turns to one of the people behind the table and passes him the large spoon he is mixing in a large pot and says something before making his way towards you both.
"Softskins! It is good to see you ag-" his words suddenly stops as he notices the corpse of Milo in Drake's arms. An angry look crosses his reptilian face. "What happened?!" He asks as you all continue out of the keep with the Lizardfolk now following. You both explain the heroic attempt of Milo trying to damage the cult leader and Nahusca laughs. "I hope the scars haunt her." He spits onto the ground. "I shall attend the ritual of burial you soft skins perform." Nahusca says softly as he continues to follow.
You pass townsfolk who are certainly interested in the small funeral procession moving through the town. It does not take long for you all to be recognised as the heroes of Greenest. Some people bow their heads and stop their work efforts as you pass, giving their silent condolences to your fallen ally, while some silently follow the procession towards the temple grounds of Chauntea, where Milo's faithful companion Buddy was buried two days past.
When in the temple grounds, you move the following towards Buddy's burial spot. Drake goes to lie Milo's corpse onto the ground to dig a resting spot next to Buddy. Nahusca places a hand in Drake's shoulder and then asks some of the following townsfolk to gather shovels and aid in the effort. They gladly accept and run to the temple and shortly return with shovels and start to dig a semi-deep hole for Milo to be laid in.
As his body is softly rested next to Buddy's final resting spot, Drake says a few words that detail what he knew of Milo and the courage and honour he showed to the valiant rescue of the townsfolk of Greenest. A few minutes silence is held before the townsfolk say some things before moving back to continue the repair efforts. Nahusca has no words but places a hand and gently squeezes on each of your shoulders before walking back to the keep with you.
Once back in the keeps courtyard, Nahusca stops near the cooking station. "I have taken a liking to the soft ones in this town. They appear to like my cooking and I have been offered a job. I'm not sure what this feeling is, but it is close to seeing a wounded animal and knowing its suffering must end. I think you softskins call it sympathy." He shows a confused smile before turning to cooking effort. "You should come and supper tonight unless you are leaving again so soon? Even if so, you will come and have some delectable stew before you leave. All of you." Nahusca shares an embrace with you both before waving you off back into the keep. As you walk away you hear the Lizardfolk complain to the townsfolk the left the pot with. "You're meant to continuously stir, not leave it to boil! Silly human!" He chuckles with the man as you both enter the keep building.
Inside the keep corridor you both turn right towards the set of stairs that leads to Governor Nighthill's study and year two sets of footsteps begin d you. You turn and see Leosin walking up the stairs and supporting himself on the stone wall, quickly followed by Folkre. There is a limp in Leosin's walk and Folkre exclaims as he follows after him. "There was nothing I could do to let him rest." He gestures to Leosin who seems determined to continue moving through the corridor and uo the stairs. "Because, it is very important, Folkre. He walks past you both and continues up the stairs with you all now following the half-elf.
You move into the empty corridor at the top if the stairs and Leosin asks which door is Nighthill's study. At confirmation of it being the door at the end by Folkre, Leosin stumbles slightly to the door and pushes it open revealing Governor Nighthill, Cole, and Wilhekm sat around the wooden table. Two unknown women sit at the table too, and infront of Cole and Wilhelm is a heavy looking pouch accompanied by a folded note.
Everyone "Ah, Leosin I presume? Folkre, Drake, and Eko Eco." He gestures to the four figures in order before gesturing to the two women. "This is Kaida and Elise. There seems to be a connection already between your groups it seems." Nighthill looks between Kaida and Wilhelm before looking to Leosin. "Cole has just asked if a healer has tended to you, but it seems that hasn't happened yet. I will get someon-" He is abruptly interrupted by Leosin who now takes a seat at the table with everyone else. "I am fine. I'll just need a day of recovery." He then focuses to everyone else around the table.
"Folkre has caught me up on what happened. I commend your bravery. And to you." He looks at Cole and Eko Eco. "I'm sorry I did not allow you to free me. Much more could have been found out, except your firbolg friend, Kavalan, did not allow me much choice in the matter." A slight smile crosses his face as he remembers the scenario. His face quickly turns back to seriousness before addressing you all again. "After all you've done already for me personally and for the people of Greenest, I hate to ask anything more from you. But the need is great, and I dare to hope that you can aid me one time more. I need you to return to the cultists' camp. You know your way around it now in part. If the cultists are preparing to conduct another raid, or a large body of them marches away, or if anything substantial is carried into or out of that cave, I need to know. If you have a chance to get into the camp and look around again, that would be the ideal way to spot anything that's changed. I don't reccomend letting yourselves get captured again." He adds with a wry smile before waiting for reactions and a response.

Drake nods to Nighthill upon entry to the room and to each Kaida and Elise once introduced before taking a seat at the table, "Once we have resupplied I will gladly raid their camp again. But as Wilhelm says the stealthy approach won't work a second time so it would have to be an all out attack," he pauses briefly to glance over at the two women, "A couple extra bodies wouldn't go amiss if you're up for joining in on the fun," he says with a grin and a chuckle before returning to his more serious tone, "This time when we're done there we should burn the whole camp to the ground. At worst that will atleast delay them and at best might force them to cease attacks altogether, but the latter is likely wishful thinking."

Everyone Curious glances from both Leosin and Governor Nighthill are thrown towards Cole at the mention of being tied down before talk of the approach takes the room once again. Kaida softly asks Elise for her opinion on travelling with the group and Leosin speaks up. "You do not have to go into the camp. There were many different vantage points atop the valley. I just want to know of anything that happens within the camp. You do not have to infiltrate again if you feel you cannot. Just relay to me to me anything that happens in the camp that seems significant." He takes a deep breath in that seems slightly pained before addressing you all again. "There is risk, yes. But with the risk there is absolutely reward. I can offer you all one-hundred and fifty gold pieces each if I am to hire you for this. This task is very important, and I do not think there will be anyone else at hand who will be viable for this, or anyone who would have such a vast understanding of what this cult are planning." He stops there and gauges reactions of all of you in the room.

"Once this is over, I will song and dance to your fiddle until the sun rises on a safe horizon of the Sword coast." He then tuns back to Wilhelm. "As long as it takes. Something in that camp will change. I doubt they will sit there twiddling their thumbs together. When that change does happen, you must notify me." His expression relaxes slightly as he leans back in his chair and folds his arms. "I will be heading to Elturel to meet with a friend, Ontharr Frume. When you have any word, travel directly there and rendezvous with me and I can give you your pay. So, are you up for this task?" Leosin asks now looking around at everyone at the table.
