Backstory:
Xander grew up well off... until his family started to reach hard times. He was born in the house of his uncle Herar, who wasn’t actually his uncle. He was Xander’s dads best friend. He has 7 younger siblings, and that’s why life became rough. It’s hard to support that many children with only one working family member. They were all born in Uncle Herar’s house, because his wife was a trained healer and helped with the delivery. When Xander got older, living in that apartment that got smaller with each new sibling, he started spending more and more time away from home, trying to make money any way he could. Eventually he fell into a group of people, who called themselves The Black Crosses. One of them, Carter, took a liking to Xander. Carter was a master rouge and burglar, and began teaching Xander. At first, Xander was hesitant. But he was tired of not being able to help his family. He needed a way to help support them. Xander was 18 when he started being instructed by Carter. Xander began doing small burglaring jobs. His first big job happened recently, along with a few smaller jobs. He does it knowing it’s wrong, and he doesn’t like it. He does it to help support his family, and that’s where most of his earning go. The first big job he went on was with Carter at point, and two others, Xander and Jorge. He and the others robbed the country house of a rich merchant, while he and his family were in the city.They successfully got away and made a large sum, most of which Carter gave to his family, but also was able to keep some, because it was a large payout. He had also taken on a few smaller job, which he successfully accomplished, and tried to help his family as much as he could. This continued for a few years, with jobs on and off but never consistently. Then it changed. A lot changed. Xander’s mother and 4 of his siblings were traveling to a nearby town to visit a family member, and were attacked and robbed on their way home. There was only one survivor, Xander’s brother Ned, who ran home and told Xander and his father. He said that a group of marauders attacked them, and killed most of them. Xander swore revenge, and when he heard of a sighting of them near Redlarch he packed his thing immediately and went to try and settle the score.
