Baeshra
Baeshra leads her two buddies to a nearby table, away from the bar. She then crosses her arms and begins to speak:
"Baeshra has learned of a bandit group nearby. They capture bear and humiliate him by treating him as pet!" she takes a deep breath "The bandits should be south, on the Cairn road. There will be a lake and a cave, must check there. Baeshra hopes you will aid with this.. she will aid with your task in return."
Xander Darnus
Xander looks at Randall apprehensively “I think that we should be able to help you...” Returning his attention to Randall “There’s no rush to get our quarry done, right?”
Randall Grim
“Let me see if i get this right: we are torn between avenging an humiliated bear or hunting down a ghost spoted by a little girl...” Randall sights deeply and proceeds sarcastically “I guess we can toss a coin and let the fate decide providing we attained such good favor from the gods”...he sights again “or we can go to the nearest objective first...”
Baeshra
"Toss coin? Is this human tradition?" she asks, perplexed by the idea. "Nearest sound better. More effective"
Xander Darnus
Xander looks back and forth between the two of them, a little perplexed “Well then... we’ll set out tomorrow to try and take care of that ghost?”
Baeshra
"Where is ghost? In town?"
Xander Darnus
“They said by a small building down the ‘Larch Path’, a young girl was playing there so it should be far.”
Baeshra
"Small building can't be far.. Why not go now? Solve problem fast, and tomorrow deal with bandits?"
Randall Grim
“I like this resolve... lets go then and take care of it”
Xander Darnus
“Will the three of us be enough? Or should we try to get more? There was that one other that traveled with us...”
Baeshra
"We can wait a bit. Or try find him?"
Dungeon Master
As Baeshra's question hangs in the air for a moment, the door of the inn opens and the familiar face and armour of William stands in the doorway. His gaze meets your trio as he walks over.
William J. McCoy
"Howdy folks. Please excuse me a moment. Ah need me a drink, den Ah'll join you" William goes to the bar, orders a beer, pays, then returns to the table.
Baeshra
"We just speak of you. You come help us defeat ghost and bandits?"
William J. McCoy
"Ghosts and bandits? Ah'm thinking something mighty odd is happening about these pahts. Ah was just speakin' ter some miners, an' they said some shifty folk have been going 'bout the quarry at nights. Tell me more about these ghosts and bandits"
Xander Darnus
“I don’t know much about the bandits, that was Baeshra, But the ghost was apparently seen at a small building down the path a little by a young girl. Randall thinks it’s not a ghost, but I think it’s worth looking into”
Baeshra
"And bandits are south of town. Bandits are always bad, but this time they capture bear and humiliate him. Baeshra wants to free bear and teach them a lesson... But Baeshra is fine with checking ghost first, it is closer. Could go now?"
Xander Darnus
“Fine by me.”
William J. McCoy
"Where's the building with the ghost? We've got the bandits to the south, and the quarry is to the north."
Xander Darnus
“To the north east, up the Larch Path a ways”
Randall Grim
“And the list of chores gets even bigger.. splendid!! What about those folk in the quarry? What exactly happened? And please don’t tell me they are harassing an animal or spooking children... “
William J. McCoy
"Naught sure. Them miners dun stick 'round when they show up. 'fusin ta work nights now"
"Ah'm think we deal with the bandits first, as it's still day tahm. Then we swing 'round ta the ghost, then the quarry."
Randall Grim
“Well ... better get moving then lads.. shall we?
Xander Darnus
"Let's do it."
Baeshra
"Baeshra is always ready to go." She picks up her backpack and stick "So bandits first, yes?"
William J. McCoy
"Aye, Ah'm ready "
Xander Darnus
Xander springs up “Sounds good!”
