“Well, the ghost was allegedly seen north from here. The place was described as an old building covered in shrubs and vines, so its supposedly abandoned. Lets go!”
Randall will star going into the direction pointed by the lady and the girl. If the direction given is not enough to find the place he will ask to commoners along the way where said place may be, but without mentioning the ghost.
If the others do not follow when he starts to move he will stop and ask “what are we are waiting for?”.
If the party follows he will proceed quietly, petting his owl in his shoulder from time to time, until the place can be seen from distance.. he will then say to the others:
“We should stop here and scout the place from distance before going any further”

"Waiting and preparing is a safe call. I've the magic to keep some of us healed and safer should it come to it." Kite rolls his holy symbol in his hand, waiting patiently to the right of Randall.

"Yeah, let's scout it out a bit. I can try to sneak up and get a closer look..."
Xander says, a clear hint of nervousness in his voice
"I can usually be pretty sneaky"

“It seems like a plan.. Xander will scout... Hope here will back up from above... the rest of us stays here for now.”
Randall says while nodding to Xander.
When he finishes speaking he will send Hope to the air to scout the building (Familiar Senses. Stealth+3, Perception+3 with adv).
If Hope manages to catch any conversation he will command her to casually land at hearing distance to eavesdrop.

Randall Remembering the crate of weapons the group carries with them from the bandits earlier in the day, you take the crate with you and walk into the Swinging Sword. You look for the first person you can see that you assume works there and start to throw words at them about keeping the crate of weapons here. They look at you in confusion as you ask about it and go to say something in reply but you leave just before they can say anything.
Everyone Randall comes back from the Swinging Sword inn and seems to give the all clear, but Xander forgets and seems more focused on the current task of dealing with a ghost. With everyone being ready and prepared, you all head onto the Long Road out of Red larch and towards where Randall and Xander were told the ghost was sighted.
The sun starts it's long descent into the horizon as the group continue along the path, normally passing wagons and tradesmen heading into Red Larch. After six miles, Randall and Xander decide to take a detour off of the normal road and into the Bush, based on directions given by the young girl.
After a few more minutes, the group notice a dark, rectangular hole that grapes amid the grass and vines of a nearby hillside. They get closer and a stone door can be seen, slightly ajar, in the tunnel's dim depths. The door bears chiselled marks that might once have been a name.

Once the hole and door are noticed, Randall will command Hope to scout inside the rectangular hole (Familiar senses, stealth +3, perception+3 with adv, darkvision), approaching the door and its inscription, hopefully identifying it or any other thing that might be useful such as doorknobs, keyholes, mechanisms or levers (investigation+5).
After the entrance is checked and provided there are no evident threat, Hope will enter through the door scouting up to the range of the mental bond with his master (100ft).

Randall You command Hope to fly into the hole and immediately shift your vision to hers as she gets closer to the door. Looking closer, you can see the markings are chiselled beyond recognition. You start to look for any distinct features in the door but do not find any. This door is a large stone slab on a makeshift stone hinge mechanism. Identifying no threat, you command Hope to continue through the small opening in the door.
On the other side of the door, you see two large, metal made, wagon wheel fittings, leaning against the door. Past the door is a passage, ten feet high by ten wide, running straight into the hill. Thirty feet later, it opens into a square room, thirty feet by thirty feet, containing a stone block table. Stains and marks atop this slab suggest rusted objects objects were once arrayed on it. In the middle of the wall of the wall to the right of the entry passage, is a closed and severely rusted door.

Randall shares the information gathered with the others:
"The opening leads to a stone door, which leads to a corridor into a room with a stone table where rusted objects seems to have been laid and a rusted door. Unfortunately, the door is closed what makes impossible to investigate any further. There are also two wheel wagon fittings laying around.
I could bet this ghost is not more than regular bandits stealing merchants and spreading this story as a way to keep everyone away from their hideout.
Good news is this portion seems unguarded and there is no signs of any ghost. Bad news is I believe we have to go there to check it further."
He will quote the word ghost with his hands in the air every time it’s said. When he finishes he will make a sudden pause, and looks to the others as if expecting somebody else to take the lead of the group into the unknown territory.
He will mentally command Hope to stay in the room and fly back to his shoulder in case the rusted door opens or if any sound is perceived in said room.
If the others move forward into the building, Randall will promptly follow staying behind then.
When and if the group is about to enter the rectangular hole he will rub his arcane ring and discretely recite an enchantment along with some hand movements, immediately after he finishes a pale blue force will briefly encase his body fading almost immediacy after. (Cast: Mage Armor, slots remaining 1/2).

Kite looks around the group.
"No better reason to intervene than some foolish bandits making off with merchant's goods. We merchants ourselves on what we create and how it helps others, and these insipid wretches are seemingly stopping that enterprise. And if it is a ghost, there is an interesting story to tell."
Kite hefts his shield up in front of him, as it glimmers slightly. With his other hand, he pushes heavily on the stone door - putting the force of his weight behind it to do his best to creak it open.
He will make his way into the building cautiously, shield before him and eyes darting about the room. His holy symbol is palmed in his shield-bearing hand.

Xander follows Kite, staying close to the wall, and looking for any sign of traps, or people having been here. (Perception +5, Investigation +3)
"Be careful, watch every step, no telling what could be around..."
He says, to the rest of the group.
"I sure hope it's not a ghost, who knows what a ghost can do"
He proceeds, glancing around nervously

Xander As you follow Kite and William into the square hole, you keep your eyes peeled for any traps or signs of anyone coming through the area. You do not notice the presence of any traps in the area before the door, but you do notice two sets of footprints. One of them seems larger than yours but humanoid in shape. The other pair of footprints are smaller than your own feet, but still similar to a humanoids. It seems that whoever's footprints they are, they have come in and out a number of times. As you get closer to the door, you notice that the small set of prints go through the small opening in the door.
Everyone Everyone follows as Kite and William lead the group inside side by side, with Randall and Xander following behind and Baeshra closing up the rear. When at the door, Kite lifts one hand and starts to push against the door. It proves too heavy for one hand so he pushes his shield against it also, which gives him enough strength for the door to start sliding across the dirt. Before he can open the door fully, a loud crashing sound of metal fills the space as the wagon wheel fittings fall onto the floor and clatter against each other. The group all involuntarily gasp as the sound shocks them all. Everyone stays still for a moment, waiting for something else to happen, but nothing does and silence returns to the tomb. Deciding there is not threat, the group continue on through the passage.
Xander You continue to follow the small footprints and find they stop at the point where the wheel fittings would have been resting against the door.
Everyone As you all move forward past the door into a ten feet high by ten wide passage, running straight into the hill. The room is silent and empty of any creatures except the owl that Randall has been conjuring and using as a scout.

Once in the room, Randall will take his spellbook from the inside of his robe and discretely recite an enchantment while making gestures with his hand (Cast: Detect Magic as ritual).
While keeping his concentration he will then inspects the room (perception+3, investigation+5) paying particular attention to the table and the rusted door and looking for signs of usage, inscriptions, mechanisms, signs of magic or anything that seems out of place.

As Randall looks about, Kite lays a hand on his shoulder. "If this may help you, a deity's blessing may guide your searching."
Kite will hold steady, peering about the room with mild interest (perception +4). He looks about for any signs of paranormal activity, objects out of place in the room.
He'll wrap his knuckles against the rusty door idly. "Don't seem to be anything here out of this world..."
(Guidance: You touch one willing creature. Once before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one ability check of its choice. It can roll the die before or after making the ability check. The spell then ends.)

William approaches the door and puts his ear against it, listening for any sounding the other side. Assuming he hears nothing, he'll attempt to open the door, as quietly as possible.

Randall As you finish casting your spell, you notice nothing in the room that gives off a magical aura of any kind. You then take the time to look around the room for anything of interest, but find nothing. The main thing in the room is the stone block table and the rusted door.
Everyone Kite and William start to move towards the rusted door to inspect it. Kite raps his knuckles on the door and as he does, a ghostly armoured male steps through the door, wielding a spectral longsword. Kite and William both step back from momentary shock as the ghostly figure appears.
"You have stumbled upon the tomb of Sir Evan Sterk the fourth. It would be best advised that you all leave. Now." He stares past the group, not looking at any of them in particular.

William thinks through his history to see if he knows anything of Sir Evan Sterk the Fourth.
"Greetings, Sir Knight. Ah apologize if we disturbed yer rest. We dun heard rumahs of a ghost about these parts and came ter investigate."
(History check: +1)

While Willian talks with the ghostly figure and while still keeping concentration on the spell Randall will carefully inspect Sir Evan from a safe distance (investigation +5) looking for anything odd, but specifically searching for signs of disguise or usage of magic, particularly illusions.
He´ll also try to recall anything he might have heard or read about such "Sir Evan Sterk the Fourth" (History +3).
