Everyone Hruna nods to Eirian as he mentions needing to head home to gather some tools, before waving a hand towards Thorfin. The two frozen-bearded dwarves grunt in a sharp greeting before stepping out of the doorway and back into the snowy streets of Bryn Shander, leading you all to show you where the trail picks up. "Right then, keep following us all. It's cold and I wanna get back to that hearthplace!" Hruna rasps as she tightens her wooly hood and leads you through the streets.
When Eirian heads off home, you all hang around for a few cold minutes before he rejoins you all at the edge of the street. You all then make your way towards the North Gate, and wait for the gates to open before walking around the eastern way of the wooden walls for another five minutes. "There!" Hruna calls out as loud as her raspy voice will allow, pointing towards a large trail disturbed through the snow, slowly being replaced with the new snowflakes that float down from the sky. "That's where we walked from. Straight line in that direction, about halfway to Kelvin's Cairn." Hruna offers while rubbing her hands together. One of the other bearded dwarves glances upwards to the sky, seemingly shaken by something before continuing keep his gaze towards the ground.

Ragnov looks towards the dwarves, having been putting on his snow shoes and noticed the shaken dwarf look up at the sky. "What is problem?" He stands, looking down at the dwarf. "You seem fearful yes? What is it you know?"

Everyone The dwarf looks to Ragnov and rubs his hands together. "Dragons. Specifically white ones. We are surrounded by white snow, which doubles as a useful camouflage but also a white dragons playground." He shouts across the icy wind while Hruna shakes her head. "And when's the last time you seen a white dragon?! Don't mind Storn." Hruna shouts over to the dwarf before waving a dismissive hand. "Never unhealthy to have an eye on the sky around." Storn adds to the end, glancing up nervously once more.

Ragnov nods. "We will keep eye on sky, can never be too careful, thank you." He bows slightly towards the dwarf, then looks to the rest of the party, gesturing towards the path. "I make path through snow, everyone follow yes? Snow easier to walk on when pushed down by Ragnov."

"Aye, sounds like a plan," says a female voice, rough and harsh. Staring back at Ragnov nodding her assent is a female half-orc of average size, burgundy hair tied back into a pony tail, dressed in the same clothing as Ian, "Eiry," she says, pointing at herself, "Ian's my brother. He told me to join you."

Solste gives a scrutinizing look before beginning to follow Ragnov. She grasps the sensor in a gloved hands as her arms wrap around it in a hug.

Ragnov looks back at Eiry, then shrugs. "Must like us much to send sister. Good at fight Eiry?" He asks, beginning to plod onwards through the snow, his weight packing the white fluffy substance down under his snow shoes, though he seems to have no trouble moving forward along the path.

“Greetings Eirly.” Mordecai says as he pulls out his light rock out of pocket so they can all see what’s immediately in front of them at least. “The Morning Lord will light the way. I am behind you, let us be on our way.”

"Eiry." She corrected Mordecai firmly, "and I can hold my own better than the lad." She says confidently, padding her crossbow.

Thorfin follows the group and check the horizon for anything other than snow. "So, know any dwarf that bears my family name around here?" He ask the others of his kin.

Everyone Hruna goes to turn away to walk back into the walls of Bryn Shander before Thorfin asks if she knows of any other Fadenheim's while scanning across the darkened horizon. "Can't say I do lad." Whe then looks to thenother two dwarves who shake their heads in unison. "Well, we have now!" She jeers and chuckles into a cough before turning to walk back to the walls of Bryn Shander.
Thorfin You scan your eyes across the horizon, and apart from a few dark shapes of scenery and typography around, you see nothing else apart from snow being battered by buffeting winds.
Everyone With Ragnov leading the group, you all start making your way from Bryn Shander and out into the unsafe wilderness of Icewind Dale, under the light of the last few hours of twilight, but Solste casts light on her own winter clothing, making a beacon of light and showing the path ahead of pure snow. There are moments where the snow dies down before picking back up around you, causing you to all tighten your wooly hoods as you continue to trudge through the snow in a straight line, the trail of the dwarves long gone now by the snow that had replaced it.
After around five hours of continuous travel, you can all see a dark blot far ahead and recognise it to be Kelvin's Cairn as the last of twilight shifts from the horizon and blankets the area in complete darkness, causing a few without dark vision to lose sight. The snow begins to pick up heavily as a blizzard descends upon your group, reducing your visibility to 20-feet. Kelvin's Cairn vanishes from view as the blowing snow and wind engulf you all.

Solste Calls out to the party, "Give me but a moment before we press on." Solste quickly draws a tinder kit and light the elemental sensor she had been carrying to see if this potential storm has a elemental source."Has anyone brought oil with them?"
Solste will keep the lantern lit for the next hour if no one admits to having oil. If someone admits to having oil she will keep it lit for six hours or until the snow passes.

Eirian Taking a look around, you can only see out to a 20-foot radius, the light of Solste's clothing only being able to penetrate a part of the raging blizzard around. You see no areas or any indication as to any areas to get away from the blizzard.
Solste Using your tinderbox to try and light the lantern, it is impossible to light it long enough to stay and shut the lantern door, but you try for a few minutes before giving up.

"I can't see anything, we may have to keep walking," Eiry says, a frustrated look on her face, then glancing over to the unsuccessfully lit lantern, she lit it with with a wave of her hand, and a warm smile at Solste.

Solste gives a low growl of agitation as she is unable to light the lamp with the tinder kit. As the new half-orc ignites the lamp with magic she looks up and stairs at them for a moment before looking down to see if the lamp indicates anything.

Mordecai holds his glowing rock up to see but can barely see his own companions. “This weather is wild. I’m okay to push on but make sure we stick together. Don’t get separated.” he yells, hoping the words travel far ahead in the winds.

Everyone As Eirian turns and notices Solste trying to light the lantern but completely failing, she walks over and casts a spell that allows for the wick to instantly light before quickly closing the case. The flame within the lantern flickers like crazy as the blizzard attempts to blow it out with its raging winds. The lantern flame glows a regular flame-like colour, showing no signs of any elementals being close-by, as long as Dannika was telling the truth of the lantern. With the group concensus being to continue travelling through the blizzard, hoping to find somewhere to get out of the crazy weather, you all continue moving forward through the snow and towards where you last remember seeing Kelvin's Cairn.
Eirian,Mordecai,Ragnov,Thorfin After roughly an hour of continued travel in a supposed straight line, conversation being to a minimum due to the roaring winds whipping in every direction, you all come to realise the lack of a certain flickering lantern light that was being carried by Solste. Looking around, you now realise that Solste must have involuntarily split from the party in the last hour of travel.
Solste Keeping your eyes on the flickering flame of the lantern for any signs of change in its colour, you continue to follow along in the snow, but the flickering flame does not change colour whatsoever. You take a break from your lantern watch to look up in the hopes of seeing the blizzard clearing, but you look up and are shocked to see none of your companions infront of you. You turn yourself around really quickly and see none following behind you. With the smallest bit of light from the lantern lighting your immediate surroundings and no sight of your party or the blizzard letting up in sight, panic starts to set in a little.
